Scuba Prep

Hello All: I’m doing a combined post tonight for Bill and me because we don’t have a lot to write about. We took the catamaran out this morning and that was a lot of fun. We are both getting better at sailing. It started raining at 1pm today and rained all afternoon. I had planned to try sail boarding, but the rain canceled those plans. I just got back from the pool and it was still sprinkling. The rain worked out well for Bill because he has a bunch of studying to do for his first day of scuba training tomorrow. He’s still working through his scuba book and taking quizzes. It’s probably stuff that should be done over several days, but he has to be finished by 8:20am tomorrow. I spent the afternoon on a swing in the lobby listening to a French podcast that I like about people who do much more adventurous travel than me to places where you have to pack your own food and carry it with you. It was good language practice and a good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Hello all!!
I don’t have a lot to report today, I think I have caught up on most the things of interest here that people may want to know, I bet there are more and I will post them when I become aware.

Today Emily and I took out a small catamaran for a while in the morning. I think that is one of the better options for things to do here. Emily and I enjoy activities that we can do and go when we want.
I think resort vacations have some pluses like Emily doesn’t have to pick any restaurants and they have some equipment that we can use. The bad part is you still have a schedule to follow when it comes to lining up when you will eat and you can’t always get good equipment. I will take some pictures before we go of the stuff here.

We did get in some exercise this afternoon in the gym. I had it to myself today which I prefer since I have my own back home.

I did some pictures of the rec room, they still have a cigarette machine. It has cigarettes in it, the Newports were sold out though.

We tried one of the other “restaurants “ on property tonight. It’s Asian influenced. It was good, a little more restaurant experience with it.

My post tonight is going to be short as I need to study for my open water scuba diver class tomorrow and I have some book work that needs done! I’m excited about getting the certification. Scuba is one of the big things I remember wanting to do as a kid. We’ve done the Discover Scuba classes and they are cool but having the certification will be cooler.
