Made it to the beach!

Tamarindo Beach, we walked down after we had dinner.

Our new friend Ivan gave us a ride to Tamarindo today. We had planned on stopping by Rio Celeste but Ivan suggested a waterfall that we could go swimming at and we opted for swimming! La Leona Waterfall was where we went. It was a very pretty place and we had fun swimming and cooling off in the middle of our trip.

If you’re planning on a trip to Costa Rica and you want to make a new friend with a car I suggest Ivan, He has whatsapp +506 8858 8333 or you can try him through https://transferstourscostarica.com If he is unavailable he has other friends.

In Costa Rica if you want to get a tour license plate for your vehicle that allows you to hire your vehicle out for taxi or tours that vehicle cannot cost less than $50,000. If you are caught hiring out as a private chauffeur they will take the license plate that is on your car and it can be over 6 months to get it back.

On the interstate type highway here they have monkey bridges. They run two wires across with netting between them. I didn’t get a picture, maybe in the future.

Not much else really went on today, a lot of riding in the car. The swimming was the highlight. I’m sure there was more things that I’ve noticed that I wanted to share but it was an early start and now I’m not fully on my game. I’m going to fight going to bed early tonight because max I’m going to get for sleep is 7 hours and I don’t want to be up that early. I think Emily is already sleeping. We have a nice apartment and we stopped at the store across the street and picked up a few things for the morning to get us started. We will have to go looking for some peanut butter, this store didn’t have any. It’s nice to have a place that close. We have a pool and the beach is a short walk but we have to find the closest access yet. We did find one and it was down by a bunch of food trucks that we may have to visit later. Tonight we went to an Asian place that was pretty good. Our waitress wasn’t speaking to us and it was odd, she lost her voice. I asked if she talked and she whispered to us. She kept going around giving us and the other couple there the thumbs up and nodding and smiling.

I want to thank our readers, the old one and the new ones. Feel free to send us comments or questions you may have.
