Today we went whitewater rafting with Wave Rafting. https://www.waveexpeditions.com/ We did the Balsa river, they were class two and three, a little less intense of a rafting trip than the last trip Emily and I did in Costa Rica the last time we were here. Being a less wild river we were able to take in the view more. I do have some video footage that I will get some still shots out of later to share. I used my old cheap gopro type camera, it’s not as easy to get pictures from as my GoPro. I’m sure I’ll get some time at some point to do that.
The trip was fun, I think some of the other people thought it was pretty thrilling. We did get to see a sloth along the river and I saw a couple of toucans, they were black and yellow. I think that I may have spotted another sloth but we were moving quickly enough that I wasn’t sure.

Not many pictures today! I will try to get some more tomorrow.
Some things about the area we are in that I have noticed, there is a Poppa John’s Pizza, a Pizza Ranch and lot of places that will sell you fried chicken and hamburgers with french fries. If you’re worried about what you would eat if you traveled out of the country, I can tell you that you should be able to find something besides the local food. I do recommend the local food though.
There are a lot of recycled satellite dishes that have been turned into signs and mounted to poles on the side of the road.
A lot of the roads here aren’t too bad. There was a section of gravel on the road here but the rest is pretty nice blacktop, the roads are narrow though. Which is why you see a lot of small cars.
There is something for everyone when it comes to traveling, I recommend traveling out of the country if you’re able, it can change how you look at things.
I don’t have much else, the only other thing we did today was swim in the pool and soak in the hot spring water. It was extra hot today!
